Color coordination

I kintted the Tychus Beanie and the socks for the annual Christmas Child project. Really loved the Tychus pattern, it was fun and easy to make, and it looks great. Thank you Brooke! Tutorial here.

Today I did some decoration at home, when I reorganized our floating library by the color of the book covers. See also my latest little darling, the AJ alarm clock. So now we have a little piece of Arne Jacobsen at our home 🙂

Shades of Autumn

The sunny Sunday was spent in Siuro, Nokia, geocaching and taking photos.

To celebrate my day off, I made these simple, super-easy and actually really inexpensive necklaces, one for the Autumn and one for the Spring.

Autumn Preparations

Autumn is not one of my favorite Season’s, but there is no other way than to cope with it somehow. I spent to whole day yesterday preparing my self for the cold and dark time doing the following things:

– Changing the Summer plants to more Autumny ones on the balcony
– Baking lingonberry pie and making cabbage casserole with lingonberry jam
– Crocheting an ear warmer

With these jobs done, I think I can manage through Autumn a bit better 🙂

Aplique On My Mind

For my cousin’s daughter’s 1st birthday I made this apliqued cushion cover. This was first time I tried this techinic since many years, but I must say, that it really gives a lot of opportunities for future crafts 🙂
